Get ready for five solo artists and two duos, bringing a total of 56(!) busker performances to the streets and squares of Lublin\u2019s Old Town and city centre during Carnaval Sztukmistrz\u00f3w (24\u201327 July 2025)! <\/strong>And guess what? You get to help decide who\u2019s the funniest, most engaging, and totally wins your heart. How? Drop a coin or two in their hat. Or cast your vote online for your favourite!<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s a Busker?<\/strong>
\nA busker is a self-sufficient street artist who transforms everyday sidewalks into magical stages. With just a suitcase of props, a hat, and pure talent, they entertain passersby, win over crowds, and make a living\u2014one spontaneous show at a time. And that humble hat? It\u2019s more than just a tip jar. In the world of busking, your hat is your fee\u2014a symbol of trust, connection, and the art of performing in the moment.<\/p>\n

For years now, Carnaval audiences have enthusiastically embraced these open-air performances\u2014cheering, applauding, and dropping coins of appreciation into hats. This year, the busker contest features five solo shows<\/strong> and two duo acts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the perfect excuse to take a break from the everyday and dive into the joy of live art, right in the heart of the city.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The stage is set, the audience awaits… but wait! Our charming street performer is in a pickle. His iconic hat, a crucial prop and symbol of his craft, has decided to go on an unplanned aerial adventure, landing in an impossible, sky-high perch. What ensues is a side-splitting spectacle as our busker, in a desperate (and increasingly clumsy) bid to retrieve it, inadvertently transforms into the ultimate accidental clown. Can a simple rope, a repurposed coat rack, and the unexpected help of some strong-armed volunteers orchestrate a triumphant, hat-recovering grand finale?<\/p>\n
