Acting for Climate “BARK” (NOR) | TICKETS
no restrictions
Norway ticketed 70 min non-verbal
“BARK” is a site-specific show played in and with your local forest. It explores themes of reconnecting with nature and each other, addressing climate change, and the potential for social change. The sight of an artist suspended high above the ground on a tree branch serves as a powerful symbol of our dependence on nature. Through interactions with nature and one another, the group aims to create a sensory experience that challenges our perception of human nature as an integral part of the biosphere.
This visually stunning, poetic, and thought-provoking contemporary performance combines physical expression, group acrobatics, vertical dance, traditional dance, and physical theatre, as well as contemporary soundscapes and poetic texts. The performance takes place amidst the trees and with their active participation, creating a unique and immersive experience. The forest is a key element of the performance, along with the audience and five performers.
