About
Step into a world of captivating artistry and boundless passion at Radek Bułtowicz's exhibition. This talented local artist-photographer invites you to see the portraits of Lublin's contemporary circus community. As you wander through the gallery, you'll discover a thriving circus scene that has taken root in our city. The renowned Carnaval Sztukmistrzów and The Eastern European contemporary circus festival CYRKULACJE have made Lublin a shining beacon of circus artistry.
Beyond the grand spectacles lies the heart and soul of these festivals - a dedicated group of passionate individuals. They are the visionaries who not only orchestrate these exceptional events but also pour their very essence into their work. This community includes circus artists, performers, musicians, buskers, tightrope walkers, managers, psychologists, and many more.
Their unwavering commitment to the circus has led to a remarkable growth in their numbers. Despite their significant impact, these remarkable individuals, completely absorbed in their craft, remain unknown to the general public. However, their stories deserve to be shared and their artistry celebrated. That is why the "Circus ID" exhibition was brought to life.
